Chanel vintage red mini

this model was made in 1992 with the gold plated hallmark carved, right at the interlocking cc. Vintage chanel handbags were made of sturdy lambskin, and this particular one went through a battery of tests, all of 19 years. Yet the leather still feels buttery soft, no loose stitchings or tarnishing of the gold, just some color fading of the leather. I had previously wanted it re-glazed to look brand new, but an honest wear and tear makes the bag more lovable.

i brought her to my beautiful friend's big five-o birthday bash which was super fun, and like chanel, Tess is just as ageless. Her secret: yoga. I wish i could grow old just as graceful as her. The lavender dress is just the perfect compliment to that lithe physique.

my dearest SO brought me to a fab restaurant roy's in newport beach. It was great going since the chef is also a talented Filipino food aficionado. My favorite was the green salad with the grilled salmon (oh well, i always get fish, where ever restaurant i go)..and inasmuch as SO hated taking pics, he felt obligated getting an action shot of the vintage chanel
